After several setbacks Charles Darwin sails from Plymouth in 1831. What he finds opens his eyes to the world. Deep full diversity of life is something we have not encountered before. This is a challenge to humans for there is a lot more happening than we know about.
What we find makes us ask questions about humans. Perhaps this variety of life is something of the universe itself. What we see in the sky could be a connection to other worlds. How much more could we become if all these possibilities existed for us too.
It is similar for us. As we reach for the stars humans overcome challenges. From finding out about planet earth we move to new discoveries beyond. If we are to be effective in our endeavours we may have to comprehend realities of the universe different from anything we know.
It is what is happening here on the ground that is our starting point. We know all of this and yet it is not enough. Somehow we need the possibility of changing for the better. If there is more than this then it may be out there somewhere.
